Vrbo was dihonest
Property owner stated no refunds so we purchased trip insurance on vrbo website. When we cancelled our reservations the day after the purchase (which was 10 months before our planned stay), vrbo sent an automatic credit on our card for the small amount of the insurance premium and refused to refund the cost of the stay!

Convenient location for Berlin area trip
We travelled from the US for a wedding. The location of Magnolie was conveniently located near multiple forms of public transportation (S-bahn, U-bahn, bus, feeeway) right on the "ring". Short trip from anywhere around Berlin. Apt was a basic clean flat. There was some construction noise one day from another unit nearby one day but that was likely a one off occurrence and not something in the owners control. Beds were comfortable! Expect some city noise if you open rhe windows but not bad if they are closed.

Tempelhof stay
Access to the train was great and about 20 minutes to downtown. Unit was clean and neat but stairwell and elevator smelled of cigarette smoke. Communication with owner was fine and was responsive. Overall good stay.

FEWO Berlin
Schöne, sauber Wohnung in Berlin-Tempelhof. Netter, problemloser Check in. U-Bahn in 2 min. zu erreichen. Ideal um von hier Berlin zu erkunden. Einziger Nachteil: die Parkplatzsuche ist mitunter etwas schwierig.

Einmal und NIE WIEDER!
Eine Ferienwohnung für 6-7 Menschen ausgeschrieben und trotzdem zahlt man ab der 3.Person einen Zuschlag - in unserem Falle ein 4 jähriges Kind. W-Lan kostet zusätzlich und Late Check in - Gebühr (ab 20.00Uhr) - stehen sehr versteckt in der Beschreibung. Heizung im kleinen Schlafzimmer bleibt trotz höchster Stufe kalt. Monteure waren zwar da, aber diese wollten einen Zutritt zur Ferienwohnung zu jederzeit - auch während unserer Abwesenheit. Dies haben wir abgelehnt! Ein Termin in unserer Anwesenheit zur Instandsetzung der Heizung wurde weder von den Monteuren noch vom Vermieter mit uns vereinbart. Geschirr und Besteck in der Küche waren schmutzig/benutzt. Dieses haben wir vor der Nutzung erstmal in dem Geschirrspüler reinigen müssen. Inventarliste in der Küche stimmt nicht mit dem zur Verfügung stehenden Geschirr/ Besteck überein ("Was für uns jedoch kein Problem darstellte.") Fernsehempfang über Sat-Schlüssel heißt in dieser Ferienwohnung, dass bei den ersten Regentropfen kein Empfang mehr möglich ist/war. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer (steht wohl auch als Schlafcouch zur Verfügung) ist durchgesessen. Schlafen möchte man darauf nicht! Bei Anreise gab es einen schmutzigen Esstisch im Wohnbereich. Am vorletzten Tag erhielten wir vom Vermieter eine Nachricht über FEWO in der wir aufgefordert wurden weitere Zahlungen zu leisten. Uns wurde unterstellt, dass wir in der Wohnung geraucht hätten. Da wir mit einem 4 jährigen Kind die Wohnung bewohnten, entsprach diese Unterstellung nicht den Tatsachen. Des weiteren hätten wir unseren Hund nicht angemeldet. Nach einigen Nachrichten hin und her gab der Viermieter zu, dass über FEWO der Hund für eine Nacht bezahlt wurde. Nach Rücksprache mit FEWO erfuhren wir, dass hier vom Vermieter die Einstellung im FEWO-Portal nicht korrekt ist/ war. Die ausstehenden Kosten für den Vierbeiner wurden mit der Kaution verrechnet. Im Großen und Ganzen war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter in keinster Weise von Vertrauen geprägt.

Das Objekt ist zentral gelegen und gut mit den Öffentlichen zu erreichen. Fussläufig konnten wir jeden Abend Spezialitäten aus verschiedenen Ländern genießen oder den Supermarkt erreichen.
