Rooms are newer and perfectly fine, but our was street facing with no opening windows (probably because it would feel like a bus was driving through our room), but I would not want that again. I appreciate fresh air. Mostly great staff, just they could not find our reservation when we arrived. Blamed it on it being Expedia."

"We absolutely loved staying at the Crown and Cushion. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well The staff was amazing. We were greeted by Ellie and she was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and we felt like we were treated so kindly. In the evening we had a pint at the bar and our server was Costas. He was a delight. We enjoyed talking with him. I highly recommend staying here and plan to come bqck"

"We stayed at The Dundas when attending a wedding nearby, and it was just lovely. Wonderful staff, super friendly. Our room was great, the bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to get out of it! Beautiful surroundings by the canal, we had a lovely private patio out to the water. Hoping to return for lunch in warmer weather!"

"If you are looking for quintessential English charm you'll find it here. Such a stunning property. The rooms were very well done and although they are in a very old building they are quite modern in their fit and finish. I can't write this review without mentioning the food. It was spectacular, probably the best food we ate on our entire 17 day vacation, big props to the chef. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents its self. Only thing we would do differently would be to try...
