"We paid the €21 for a breakfast twice. Get there early for the best choice. Some hot food. The hotel is a 10minute walk to the town centre. It’s a nice little town. We were there to meet up with a relative but did some tourist stuff. The 45 min boat cruise for €6.5 each was well worth it and comes right past the hotel. We managed to get a parking space on site. Icecream shops in town lovely."

"It’s a beautiful old school building turned into a hotel. Keep in mind there is no elevator, however, staff was there to help us with our luggage. The staff is very friendly and helpful and everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. We would love to stay there again!"

"Property was a perfect location for my trip. Fun Quirky Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the bar and restaurant in the evening. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Train station was just a short walk away. Two stops to City Central and One stop to Zaanse Schans Windmills. Once we learned to navigate the trains it was very easy to get around. Trains were clean and safe."

"The rooms are clean & comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Located in the heart of Haarlem it is the perfect location from which to walk the city and see all the sights. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants close by and the Saturday market should not be missed. There is no need for a car. It’s an easy 10 min walk from the train station to the hotel. So enjoy."

2/10 Terrible

"Please whatever you do, DO NOT stay here. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else. If I could give this place negative starts then I would. The whole room smelled like body odor. The wall paper was peeling off. The bathroom door handle was broken and we couldn’t open the door at times. The walls were thin, we could hear our neighbors daily. There was mold in the bathroom ceilings. There was never anyone at the front desk."
