"I'd like to know what privileged lives people are leading, when they say the area around the hotel isn't safe. Munich is a big, multicultural city and the people in the area reflect that, but we never once felt unsafe, even when arriving back to the train station at 10pm with my 5-year old in tow. The convenience to the train station cannot be overstated - it's SO easily accessible which made day trips to Salzburg and Neuschwanstein a breeze. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure is *strong*, and they held our bags at the end of our stay for free. Honestly, I have very few negative things to say about our stay. Yes, the indoor pool is cold - but I'm inclined to think that's on purpose, for you to enjoy after the sauna (which we didn't use). Yes, we paid a nominal fee to check in early at 10am. But there was air conditioning AND an electric tea kettle in our room, so you won't find me complaining. All in all, this was an excellent value for the location, quality, and amenities. "

"Clean and quaint hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful upon checking in. Only complaint was no A/C adjustments available in room so it was sweltering. Was told by front desk they would have to call in a maintenance request to adjust. Since stayed only 1 night, did not request service but also did not sleep well...due to the heat. Will stay at this hotel again but will be mindful of this issue and bring a portable fan."

"It was clean and spacious. Washing machine in the apartment was a real plus! Staff were very helpful. Elevators had a glitch when we were checking out, so I had to climb 10 flights of stars, but that’s a first-world problem. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the service. The young man who served us (he was from Egypt…I didn’t get his name) was very kind and professional. Our daughter was not feeling great and we were getting a take-away order for her, and he insisted on taking it to the room for us. Such a kind gesture and definitely above and beyond the normal service from a server in the restaurant. He deserves recognition for being so precessional and kind. Cheviot was easy and we would definitely stay here again!"

"I was visiting Munich on vacation with my wife. We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and spacious. Its a newer place so the condition of the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet, which was included with the room offerred a great selection and plenty of food. You dont need lunch after the breakfast at the hotel. The location is about a 10 min walk to the Munich East train station which has connections to many places. There is also a large grocery store in close by, which we didnt use much but could be convenient. Parking was 20 Euro per day and there were not really any other options, but if you stay inside the ring road in Munich i think you have to accept you are going to pay for parking. I would happily stay here again"
