"A very comfortable base for a few days hiking in the valley. So peaceful- I slept great. The king room was compact but comfortable & enjoyed the refreshing pool. It was nice to have the bar/restaurant when tired post-hike for easy refreshment, but I definitely recommend checking out some other great little spots in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful- went above & beyond for the morning our guide wanted to meet before their breakfast hours- set us up with a coffeemaker and fruit the night before. We self-drove and there was plentiful parking. After driving around the valley & seeing some of the other places I researched way up the winding lanes, Villa Copthall is much easier to access. "

"The property is located in the town close to restaurants, supermarkets, shops etc. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again, if I return to Dominica. "

It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there. We heard that some drop you off on the main road, and it would be quite the hike, especially with bags. "

"There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again."

"Beautiful property. The host was friendly and accommodating. Great location for exploring some of the major sights in the area. A natural spring on site provided delicious drinking water. I had a family cabin with a kitchenette and washing machine. There were no screens in the doors/windows, but the beds had mosquito nets. I rented an AWD vehicle to get there. The location was well-signed and easy to find. Cold water only for the shower. The kitchenette was stocked with utensils. Note that there are many stairs to reach to cabins, so if you have trouble with stairs it may be difficult. "
