"They have two nice pools. Although we have used only seaside and beach. Not enough and old sunbeds. They have a shower on the beach side. Experienced, helpful and kind staff. They have let me to call airline due to sudden situation. Thanks a lot for it. We have waited a bit long for the dinner after ordering in the restaurant and at the end one of the order was forgotten. They have said sorry. So assuming it was just incidental. Recommended. "

Special mention to the Chef Mr. Sunny Mehta who made sure we are served authentic cuisines especially for my senior aged parents. "The location is amazing, you will get an authentic bentota experience here. Most of all the hotel is run like a family, we were taken cared of as soon as we landed, the team there helped us plan everything and take us around bentota. The food they serve was delicious, i really liked the breakfast! And we had an amazing personal tour of the lagoon on the boat safari, where we fed monkeys, saw crocs and even held a baby croc! This was a once in a lifetime trip! I reccomend staying here if you want great value for money and great service!"

"Layout of the hotel was good for see if views as the hotel stretches out length ways, room was a little rough around the edges and just feel it could do with a refurb to get five stars however the view was wonderful - the hotel seems to have like a hotel split in two vibe due to the layout Staff were all very nice Tuna turner was very nice food and drink but a little over priced when comparing the restaurants across the tracks which were very good River safari is worth paying a visit All in all I would say 4.5 stars, if the rooms were a bit better it could get to a five"

"The architecture and gardens are a stand out feature of this hotel located on a quiet section of Bentota Beach ( separated by a railway line which you cross on foot!). Staff are efficient and courteous "

"Absolutely perfect in every way. Great value for money. Beautiful view from our balcony over the lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was massive! Abu was really helpful. He also picked us up from the airport, and drove us to Hillary’s via a turtle hatchery and a boat trip on the River Madu. I would definitely recommend him as a driver if you’re looking for someone reliable. "

"We stayed here for four nights, it was steps away from the beach. The highlight of the stay was the helpful friendly staff. They bent over backwards to please us. The room price was very good, but I would recommend taking the deluxe room rather than the standard room for a better view. Breakfast was different each morning and the highlight of the breakfast was a plate of fresh fruit each morning. One night the internet was not working but we just mentioned it to Nimish and he looked after it. The other guy’s name was Sadew. Hopefully I will add their photos."
