Although not to close to the center of town, it is right next to the Hauotbahnhof, which is not a bad area (unlike, say, Frankfurt, where the Hbf is a crummy area). And there is a direct bus to Frankfurt airport, 30 mins. or so. Unfortunately they only take credit cards on the bus.
