"Es ist alles da was man braucht aber man sollte keinen goßen Luxus erwarten.Man muss bedenken, dass es ein älteres Haus ist und es etwas muffig anfangs riecht. Mit einmal gut Durchlüften legt sich das aber.Es geht zum Schlafbereich eine schmale steile Treppe hoch, also nichts für Geheingeschänkte.Für zwei große Personen ist das Bett mit 1,60m breite und durchgehender Matratze gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Kühlschrank ist etwas wackelig und macht beim schließen starke Geräusche aber er kühlt.WLAN funktioniert gut, die Kommunikation hat bestens geklappt und einen Parkplatz gibt es direkt am Haus. Für uns war es in Ordnung, vielen Dank"

"It’s a very old building and clean, but there are some little things that could use updating. There are little holes in the wall that need to be patched and the walls are very thin. But I would stay again. Good night sleep and more room than other places we stayed in Europe if you are traveling with family."

"Room was basic and not clean. We were told WiFi was available, it wasn’t. We booked and paid extra for a business room, we were given a standard room and refund was refused by the hotel. Not a bad location for getting to cologne city centre."

"Maria, is an excellent host. We arrived after dark, and they were so gracious in helping to find the parking and checking in. Was quite comfortable for our two night stay. Highly recommend."

"Good points, Very clean, good breakfast ( but hot option limited), very friendly & helpful staff. Bad points, Long distance from main road to hotel entrance,( uphiill all the way to reception), no lift from drive to reception (2 flights of steps to carry all yiur luggage up ) NO restaurant or snack bar available on sunday ,So NO food available, no Bar...So no drinks available, only vending machine , crisps & chocolate. Ive NEVER stayed in a hoktel with NO facilities offered to residents on sunday. Long walk frommain road to hotel reception & ALL uphill on entrance. NO lift to reception, 2 flights of steps to carry all lugage up."

"The location was better than we expected. Walking out of the door, straight into Thielenbruch Wald. Also, an easy way to travel to Koln by rail just around the corner. And the pool is a very big plus! We had a question about the pool and cleanness of it, and the owner answered straight away. We recommend this place to anyone visiting nature and Koln."

"Very nice hotel perfectly located. Pond and terrrace is beautiful but we could not eat on the terrace…. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed mondays and yuesdays (the two days we were there) "
