"We enjoyed our stay very much. Nate was very responsive and great to work with. The house was clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen had exactly what we needed to cook meals for our family of 9 people. The drive to the house is an adventure in and of itself so take Nate’s advice seriously - you’ll need a four-wheel drive vehicle and a steady nerve, especially after it rains. Two trees came down and blocked the road while we were on our way back to the house after dinner in Bennington. Fortunately there were some locals ready to help clear the road. The house is super cool, completely different from any place we’ve ever stayed at before. It reminded us of a Hobbit house and we had a lot of fun with it.We would love to stay there again. "

"The owners are there everyday. The staff is friendly and very custimer focused. The standards are high and the inn has a great history and is lovely. It felt more like being a house guest than a customer. The restaurant was an outstanding choice for dinner and accommodation for vegetarians and allergies were taken into consideration and excellent meals with tasty desserts and great wine and cocktails now has this on our summer spots to visit!!"
