"I stayed here for two nights by myself. The guy who owns the place is friendly and put on a nice continental breakfast (salmon, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and brewed coffee). However, that said it was clean overall and the host mentioned he’s actively renovating, which is good to hear as it’s got potential to be a beautiful building...

"Lovely peaceful setting and has everything you need. Only minor issues we had was bedroom was lovely but not much room to move and shower was a bit temperamental and was sometimes a problem to regulate but nothing a bit of patience didnt sort. Unfortunately we never got to use the hot tub due to swarms of midges which was just one of them things. Overall if your looking for peace and quiet its great and recommend feeding the birds as there is a bird feeder. Was lovely to watch and had a red squirrel visiting most days. Only 20 minutes from Dunoon and recommend the Lorne for food but its advisable to book a table as was very busy."
