Hotel BCL Podium La Nucia

"Large rooms and bathrooms, nice clean and modern. great location close to the tennis academy. However do note that it is incredibly difficult to get a taxi or uber to come up there for shorter rides, we tried asking the front desk for a taxi which they called but the taxi never showed after 30mins of waiting when they said it would be 15mins, the front desk did follow up with the taxi company then but they just said they were busy. We ended up being able to get an uber but that also required 20+mins of waiting, we ended up renting a car in Benidorm and wished we’d done that on arrival in Alicante airport. The breakfast is quite good with a wide variety of options. My only nitpick is that I wish they had some more yoghurt/granola/fruit options. They did have some yoghurts but in mini cups and only the sweetened versions and no granola, there was fruit but in large pieces so more to eat on their own rather than mixing through yoghurt. We also had trouble parking on one of the nights when we got back from dinner and there was some kind of event that caused all parking on the hotel to be filled up and piled over onto the side of the street so we had to reverse back onto the ramp to find parking elsewhere."

"Absolutely fantastic property, exceptionally clean and great communication. Although I was surprised that there was a dog staying in the apartment below us and allowed to use the pool area, It was quite barky at times and especially when the listing specifically says no dogs."

"This property is a real quiet gem for being next to a large water park and full of families and kids when it’s park season. Very helpful staff, easy to communicate with in English. 10 minutes from anywhere in benidorm by car. Best 24/7 entrance for the entire property is the rear through the top east side."
