"This is a great place to use as a first stop in Lisbon. It is quickly and easily reached from the airport using the metro red line. It is walking distance to the Oceanarium and a large shopping mall. With the metro/train station so close, you could use this as a home base to go many places. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is well worth the extra charge. My room was on the street side, but it was quiet. "

"We really enjoyed our room, #4, the room and private bathroom in a separate building through the kitchen. The room is small, but we were able to open 2 large suitcases and 2 smaller carry on suitcases. There were a couple of small issues which were fixed the next day...very quickly looked after. Super location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and many bus routes. We found a great restaurant where they spoke English just down the street, Restaurante Churrasqueira O Franquinho,...

The convento was easy to get to from Santa Apolónia Train Station with a Bolt car pick-up, and centrally located for exploring the city on foot after that. We loved that our room was super clean, air conditioned, and amazingly quiet for being in the heart of Alfama (our room faced the inner courtyard). The bed was firm but comfortable, though the sheets and pillows could have been softer/better...
