"It was nice to be away from the city but close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and many nearby towns to explore. The owners were very personable and helpful. We were given a list of delicious, favorite restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay here!"

"Made a last minute booking and had no idea where we were staying. Happily surprised with being at a vineyard the first day of grape picking. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"The house is beautiful and well equipped. There was an issue with the heated pool and the owner worked diligently to resolve it. Easy check in and check out. If you want to stay near the Foz do Arelho area than this property should be on your radar screen."
