"It was exactly what we booked. Rustic, Rural, quiet......Amazing views, very safe, really helpful and attentive staff. The pool was incredible, with views over the mountains, and a lovely breeze. The small village of Benecid and the larger village of Fondon have a few restaurants/bars offering great quality tapas (not tourist food). Great experience.....we will be back one autumn to take advantage of the mountain walks, August was too hot to attempt 27km of mountain trails."

"I think I was quite lucky on this booking. It was Sunday in the off-season so the price was very good. Half board was even better. The room was outstanding. The entrance, lobby, pool and lounging area were all excellent. Both the buffet service dinner and the breakfast were superb. This is such a great hotel. I really couldn’t have improved anything."

"What a beatiful hotel! The staff were super helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the pool area was great to relax after a day of hiking. We are a couple in our 40s who enjoy being outdoors, we found this hotel by chance and absolutely loved it - Im pretty fussy so its a big complement! Its a great location for hiking and exploring the surrounding area and perfect for a digital detox (although they do have wifi) and to relax. The set menu in the restaurant was great value for money - and very tasty food. We will definitely return when we come back to the area. "
