The Mill Cottage

The Mill House cottage is one of three historic cottages on this property. It is located in the heart of Bend between the historic downtown and desirable Old Mill district. There is no better location than this one, just steps from Columbia river park and walking distance from the amphitheater, 10 Barrel Brewery, Good Life Brewery, Jackson's Corner and Active Culture. We offer complimentary bikes making it easy for you to zip downtown for your morning coffee or evening happy hour. The Mill house is an authentic Bend mill cottage that has kept its original charm while being brought up to date with all the essentials to make your stay a happy one. In the winter enjoy the gas fireplace to keep you feeling cozy and warm. In the summer we have an AC window unit to help keep you cool. The outdoor shower is a summer favorite and the sunroom dining makes for a warm and peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Located across the street from the Deschutes River there are trails that lead to McKay Park, The Old Mill and Les Schwab Amphitheater. Enjoying the outdoors and embracing our community is core to the Bend culture. So we’ve strived to create amenities that enable you to enjoy outdoor space here at the cottages. There is a hot tub, Adirondack chairs and gas BBQ for you to use during your stay. Please note the hot tub is shared by the small studio guest house in the back. There are also complimentary bikes provided for guests of all three cottages. The bikes are stored in a boat house on the property. In the summer floating the river is a great way to experience Bend. Simply walk down to McKay park with your rafts to enjoy a 20-30 minute float down to drake park which is an easy walk back to the cottages.
