Welcome to Shagbark #17!! This 5-star premier home has everything you need for your family get-together. Located on the quieter north end of Sunriver, with easy access from the Cottonwood entrance avoiding a lot of traffic. You will love the custom log accents throughout the home. This beautiful, family-oriented home was recently updated with all-new carpeting and hardwood flooring throughout. No detail was left unnoticed with the upgrades. Once you stay at this home, you won’t want to leave and will be planning your next stay. This home is great for family reunions, anniversaries, golf groups, conferences, church groups, and multiple family vacations.

Shagbark #17 is a 3458 sq foot AIR CONDITIONED home that offers 7 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms and is very well appointed. Each bedroom is equipped with a Pendelton Quilt Comforter completing the northwest décor theme.
Downstairs are three bedrooms, all with King beds. En Suite #1 has a King bed, private access to the hot tub, walk-in closets, and a flat-screen TV. The attached bathroom has a large soaking tub as well as a walk-in shower. The bathroom is completed with gorgeous granite countertops and double vanity. En Suite #2 has a King size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a shower/tub combo. The third downstairs bedroom is also a King size bed with a flat-screen TV and a bathroom next to it. The third bathroom has a slate walk-in shower with a custom granite sink and granite countertop to complete its beauty. With three bedrooms downstairs, it is ideal for family members that do not want to utilize the stairs.

Also downstairs, is the well-equipped kitchen that has everything you need to make those special family dinners. Beautiful granite counters, a double oven, and two refrigerators (one in the garage) are just a few of the touches in this home. Complete with 2 dining areas seating up to 16 people with additional seating around the kitchen island. The living room has a gorgeous river rock fireplace, 20’ vaulted pine ceilings, and plenty of seating for all to enjoy and relax.


Upstairs you will find the remaining 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have a queen bed and a small flat screen TV in each. Bedroom #6 has 2 sets of Twin Bunk Beds, a great place for the kids to hang out which also has a TV. Bedroom #7 doubles as the game room. It has a queen sofa sleeper, a pub table, a pool table, and a flat-screen TV. Both upstairs bathrooms are shower/tub combos.
There is also a roll-a-way bed for an extra place to sleep.

This house is beautiful! The location is also very beautiful. The AC turned itself off several times and the heat turned on. This was the only issue. I would very much stay again.

Great property for family vacation

Our recent stay at this large rental house for our family vacation was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. Wonderful house

Amazing! The house was beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and well-appointed. My group of 13 was three families with kids age 2-8. Kids especially enjoyed the foosball, hot tub, bunk beds, SHARC passes, and riding bikes around the circle. Adults appreciated the excellent kitchen (multiple coffee makers!), bedroom options, and that everything in the house was in working order. I'd return to this house in a heartbeat.

The house accommodated our family of 14 very comfortably for Christmas!

Make sure to get your pass code before arrival. Had some difficulty getting that on Christmas day, but worked out quite well. Thanks to the owner. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked! We are a family of cooks, and usually travel with totes full of our needs for the kitchen. Practically unnecessary this time! A firm cover on the pool table would have been a nice feature for all the big puzzles we did. Very comfortable, clean, and well stocked home. Definitely recommend highly!

Xmas week with family

We had 13 people and the house was perfect! The kids enjoyed the bunk room and all the adults had great bedrooms. The couch in living room was great for watching football games and they even had a Xmas tree lite up which was a bonus. The kitchen had everything and an extra fridge in garage. My only suggestions would be to give better directions on the garbage / recycling set up , not sure I got it right! I wish we could of had propane fire pit , love sitting outside. Had one small issue with hot tub and the company helped me thru easily! The only thing missing… SNOW!! Did enjoy ice skating and pool and had some great walks/ hikes. Thanks for the wonderful family memories!! Jan

When we arrived after 4 pm the cleaners were still there so we waited about 15-20 minutes for them to finish. Our first impression of the home was WOW, lots of room and amenities. However one negative was the carpet was in bad shape and stained and the hot tub needed maintenance. The positives were the roomy kitchen which was well stocked, the two seating areas, the big sofa and lovely decorations. The bedrooms were also nice and big and most had a bathroom in them. The ping pong table, bikes and Sharc passes were also great additions. We love Sunriver and all there is to do in the surrounding area. Thank you.

It has a great kitchen- room for several cooks. Any type of appliance you could want was there. And 2 ovens and 2 microwaves! There were games, puzzles, 10 bikes, a pool table, books and much more. Included were 14 passes for the recreation center, which has water slides, obstacle course, child play area and more. The location was very nice. We usually gathered outside at the 2 patio tables, where the kids loved seeing deer, raccoons, chipmunks and quail. There are many bike and walking trails. We also visited the lava caves and high desert museum during our stay. It was a great family reunion and everyone loved it.

The sliding glass door was very difficult to open. We lost something in the living room sofa, had to lift the cushions and found lots of food crumbs under the cushions. The house could have been cleaner given the amount of cleaning fee we were charged. One of refrigerator drawers could not be used because it was falling off the refrigerator wall. The only accessible outlet in the 3rd king room was across the room from the bed, which was very inconvenient. My family and I thought the beds were uncomfortable and bedding was poor quality.

Thanksgiving Reunion

We arrived and had to wait 2 hours to gain access, a mix-up with lock code. The house was absolutely perfect for us. It was completely stocked with everything we needed to have a formal, sit-down dinner for 16. We are going to try and come back next year. Thank you so much!

Sunriver Motorcycle ride 2022

This house was great we had 15 adults staying at the property. We had 8 motorcycles and 1 truck everything fit perfectly. The kitchen looks out at both dinning room tables and living room. Bigger than pictures are able to show, this was a small concern prior to arriving. There was also nice long tables on the deck with patio furniture. Plenty of utensils and dinnerware (not always the case with homes for this amount of people). The location was also super convenient for supermarket runs. We would all recommend this house.

Family Vacation

This home provided a perfect gathering place for our family! From the spacious living/dining area (with room for all 12 of us to share meals and game nights together) to the comfortable and large back deck (with a few deer visitors throughout the week!) it created a great space for our vacation fun. The bedrooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. The game room and table games in the garage made it so that we always had something to do whenever we were hanging around the house. A great addition to this home was the sound system inside, allowing us to have a great background soundtrack during our stay. Would highly recommend this place for other large families!

Family celebration

Multigeneration gathering in several houses...but our house won as the best equipped, the most spacious and welcoming. This place was wonderful for full family gatherings, games and dining. It came with everything, I even prepped a wedding cake! So many rooms, games, etc. All clean and ready to use. We will go again, once I have the energy to organize such an event!
