"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "

If you are looking for a great place as base to see Lucca and the surrounding area and want modern charming accommodations, you should stay here. "

"This hotel was absolutely GORGEOUS! Everything, from the moment we walked in the entryway was just beautiful. Our room was very large, with an extra sitting room. It was beautifully decorated, very modern, with wonderful amenities in the room. The breakfast was delicious with so many options. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minute walk to the main center of town with many restaurants and shops. Also, just a 3 or 4 minute walk to the Walls of Lucca walk, which we did each morning. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back!"
