Badlands Hotel and Campground
8/10 Good
"We chose this place for location and affordability and we were more than happy with it. The rooms are exactly as advertised - simple and comfortable without being amazing. We had a comfortable stay - the air con was good & we all had good night's sleep. Interior is tiny, but there are some perfectly fine food options & it's a good place to stop on your trip to the Badlands."
Super 8 by Wyndham Wall
10/10 Excellent
"This Super 8 was the cleanest Super 8 we stayed in, most smell musty but the toilet handle was becoming loose and when I went to take the tank lid off, the inside had black mold around the top tank edge. I'm guessing no one knows to clean under there . YouTube it ."
Econo Lodge Wall
10/10 Excellent
"Lots of activity in and around the motel but still felt safe. Mostly just other travelers. Gas station next door was convenient for grabbing water and snacks. Plenty of parking. Pool was maintained. Kids loved the complementary snacks in the lobby."
Days Inn by Wyndham Wall
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place beds were nice"
Prairie Dog Perch Tiny Home
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay and would definitely give this VRBO a 5-star review. The property was very clean, check-in was easy, and the location offered excellent access to Badlands National Park, making it a perfect home base for exploring the area. The only thing to be aware of is that during the hotter summer months, the air conditioning can struggle to keep the unit cool during the warmest parts of the day. Other than that, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay here again."
Coyote Crossing Tiny Home
10/10 Excellent
"Cute and comfortable, they stay very clean and quiet"
Family Getaway in Interior, SD – Just 5 Min to Badlands NP
8/10 Good
"House was clean and comfortable. It’s a mobile home, which is not shown in the pictures. The only issue with it was the walls were very thin and we could hear people talking in another room or the tv in the living room even with the bedroom door closed. Other than that, it was fine - met our needs and was a lovely drive to get there."
Bighorn Bend Tiny Home
10/10 Excellent
"This was a fantastic vacation setting for a family of three adults who enjoy camping. We found the “tiny home” use of a tiny space to be ingenious and it provided many practical advantages over actual camping (refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, etc.) It definitely added to our sense of adventure in the Badlands! A great choice for people who are comfortable climbing ladders."
Buffalo Drift Tiny Home
10/10 Excellent
"My sister and I recently spent 7 nights in the Buffalo Drift tiny home (camper) and we loved it! The camper was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It's located only a couple miles from the entrance to Badlands National Park. We got to do so many things: explored and hiked through the Badlands, went to Mount Rushmore, the Chief Crazy Horse Monument, and the city of Deadwood and Mt. Moriah Cemetery where Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane are buried. We even drove over to Wyoming to view and hike around the Devil's Tower Monument. We also visited Wall Drug Store in Wall, SD and explored a lot of the local Native American and Old West history. The list goes on but I think one of the best things was catching the sunset from different spots within the Badlands each night. So beautiful! There were so many things to do within a 3 hour drive of this location. The town of Interior is very small and quiet. There's a bar/restaurant, Wagon Wheel Bar, within walking distance of the camper that serves great burgers. The owners, Thomas and Bob were very nice and had great communication with us. I highly recommend this place and would totally stay again!"
