Chautauqua Harbor Hotel - Jamestown

"We were stopping for a night on the way home from the East coast and chose this hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but the hotel itself is amazing. It’s VERY clean and well appointed as well as comfortable. The service was excellent and so was the food in the restaurant. The grounds are immaculate. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was a really pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. The second night we stayed, there was a leak in the bathroom which I was told was from the toilet, it supposedly has a cup that needs to be emptied ever so often. Anyways, my only real complaint was that the staff were nowhere to be found in the morning when I needed something. They have a sign up at the desk to pick up the phone and it would automatically call them to signal that someone was at the front desk. But I had been waiting for 15 minutes and no one showed up, not even housekeeping. Overall, I wouldn't expect a clean or well serviced hotel like the Marriott but it serves its purpose as a motel."

"Home was lovely and close to town. We loved the extras…bikes, corn hole, and fire pit! Kitchen was well stocked. The host and hostess had great communication. We would rent again for sure"

"We were able to check in (about 2 hours) and Nicole was so helpful. We also had an issue with noise from the room next door and Nicole was able to move us to another room. The staff there was so helpful and very pleasant."

"This vacation home offers numerous delights! The first is the colorful mid-century modern decor, with a musical theme. Guitars decorate the walls and recorded music of all kinds is available. The next surprises are atop the spiral staircase, where floor-to-ceiling windows expand the spacious bedroom and open up the view from the generous soaker tub. After enjoying the shops and restaurants of nearby Bemus Point, watching the moon set over the fields and trees is a perfect end to the day."

"The property was well-stocked with essentials and very clean. There were games to play. We loved the large Tetris and the foosball table. The deck, with its comfortable furniture, became a favorite place for relaxation. The host was wonderful with answering our questions and making sure we were satisfied. The ONLY disappointment was that while we were there, there was too much algae in the lake to swim at the cottage. Otherwise, all good!"
