Bed was a short double so my feet stuck out of end of bed (I am not over 6 feet in height). Steep stairs to rooms."

"The hotel was very convenient and close to the seafront. The room was comfortable and it had a walk-in shower which I needed. I also have difficulty with stairs, so I chose the hotel because it has a lift. It also has plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly. Will stay there again next time I visit the Isle of Wight."

"We were welcomed and shown our room which was very comfortable, especially the beds. It's a lovely pub right in the centre of town and a minute's walk from the ferry. Only one key between the two of us. We're not a couple so may have wanted to go home at different times which would've been awkward. The bathroom layout was weird. The bath was placed under a sloping ceiling so you couldn't stand up for a shower, and the door didn't lock. Nice hot water though."

"There was no wardrobe or desk in the room The shower was magnificent The staff were superlative Obviously there is no lift as it is an old building not the staff took my luggage to the room The location is excellent For a single male the accommodation is fine but I imagine ladies would expect more comfort I had a wonderful stay and the staff were wonderful "

"Always lovely to stay here, the most amazingly friendly country pub, with wonderful food. Stay for business few times a year cant fault it. they even go the extra mile by coming in early so we can have breakfast earlier than normal due to 8am meetings. Stay wonderful, and definitely give this place a try (even if its just for food and the ambiance)."
