"I have trouble walking and the lift was out of order on arrival. Not to worry, the sevice team swapped our first floor room for a ground floor more accessible one as soon as they saw the problem. Thank you so much for for your kindly intervention. We had a good night sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. This set us up for the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight. Superb!"

"I stayed alone here for two nights and found this to be good budget accommodation. I received a warm welcome, got shown to my room. This contained a very comfortable double bed, a hanging rail, bedside cabinets, TV, tea, coffee, kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom had a walk in shower, loo, loo rolls, sink, towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was well cleaned. "The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"The staff were excellent - when we first checked in we found the room, as it had been styled in a certain way, was very dark and not what we wanted. They could not change our room on the first night as they were full but offered us a choice of rooms for the second night. They could not have been more accommodating. "
