"We highly recommend booking a stay. The cottage was extremely welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing the provided games. The bathhouse wasn’t a far walk and was very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Pet friendly as well, loved bringing my dog!"

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"So much potential with this one! The cabin was brand new and beautiful. So was the bathhouse. Property is on a busy road with cars and motorcycles zipping by until the late hours. Property manager did not send confirmation until 20 minutes after check in time, I was on the road and couldn’t respond and by the time I got there and realized there was no cell service. "This was a fantastic stay! The hosts were always responsive and check-in was easy. We stayed for an extended time due to our home needing repairs. The hosts worked with us to fill this long term request and were super accommodating! This place would be great for a bigger group too, with lots of space inside and out. "We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. "
