"Always enjoy Waterton in the fall, quiet and peaceful. Arrived but did not receive info to check in at another property. Room outdated but clean, basic kitchen supplies appreciated. Suggest better quality dish soap. Bed comfortable, suggest offer additional pillow and blanket. Enough towels, bathroom very clean, easy fast hot water. Quiet, nice to wake up to deer outside the door. Was nice to be able to have breakfast with supplies from home. TV allows login to streaming accounts and has limited local channels. Ate dinner at pub within Kilmorey lodge, always good."

"This hotel had burned down in 2009, was rebuilt and reopened in 2022, so it is quite new, beautiful, and in excellent condition. We were there the second weekend of October after winter shut-down in the town. There were 4 hotels opened, seemingly managed by staff at Kilmory, and two restaurants. Line-ups for breakfast were very long and slow moving, we learned to go early to breakfast. More staff is needed in the restaurant and the main floor washrooms need to be cleaner more than once a day. Tea things with cookies were provided upon arrival, but no kettle to boil water. It was provided upon request."

"Joe was an excellent host. The cabin itself is quite rustic so if you're not into nature and expect everything to be spotless, and/or need internet/cell service, then this place may not be for you. The location is AMAZING. We loved not having wifi or cell service; the peace, quiet and privacy was incredible; sitting by the river and letting our dog explore the property was wonderful. It was also a really good jumping off point for visiting Crowsnest Pass, Fernie and Waterton. Joe's stories were so interesting and staying on the ranch was a nice treat for us. Overall a good experience and we'll be back."
