"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"The only thing we had an issue was, was finding the place. We guessed it was the correct property by process of elimination, but after that, every thing was easy peasy. I am really glad there were written out instructions since we lost service right when we turned onto Wally Rd. The back porch was perfect for when it rained and just night time hang outs. It was also super fun to see all the people in the river! The view was awesome."

"This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We have a "guys weekend" every year to just unplug from life for a couple days. This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!"

"First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. "We were really impressed by the space and the setting of this home on the hill. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses."

"We booked this lovely little home for our anniversary weekend. We have been so busy that we just wanted to go somewhere and spend time together, however we saw fit. We love the Mohican area and this was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some time by a fire, in a hot tub, down on the river floating the day away, and cozying up on the couch before bed while watching a favorite movie! "Pretty cool property . House was nice . Furniture was different in appearance but very comfortable. Hot tub was perfect . Bathrooms seem newly remodeled . Hiking trails not far by vehicle. Only downfall is the access to the water is not user friendly. It’s not stairs it’s a rope and it’s steep. But overall it was a great place to hang out and have a nice fire or sit on one of the decks and enjoy the view!"

"Great place to get away and enjoy time with friends and family. We got married about 25 minutes from this cabin at my grandfather's property. Such a beautiful decor throughout. The a/c conditions need improvement for hotter months, the rope to the river needs to be replaced and the landscaping could use some attention. But overall for early in the season it is wonderful and we would book again."
