"We really enjoyed our week at this property. Our boys loved the pool and spent many hours regardless of the weather. The pool table wasn’t quite as they’d hoped as it didn’t sit flat, but they still played a game or two. We didn’t try the bikes as one had a flat tyre. "We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. The house looked stunning in the warm Charentes sunshine and is set in magnificent gardens filled with flowers and a fascinating variety of trees including cherry, apple, fig, olive, chestnut etc, etc. The top of the garden has space for games and would be great for kids. "Nous avons passé une semaine super. Je tiens à remercier une nouvelle fois Mme DA SILVA pour son accueil et sa gentillesse car elle a accepté nos deux chiennes. Le gîte est propre, lumineux et bien équipé. La piscine est partagée avec un deuxième gîte mais à chaque fois que nous y sommes allés, nous étions seuls. Toutes les commodités sont à proximité à pied ou en voiture. Prévoir juste de l'antimoustique pour le soir et la nuit si vous dormez les fenêtres ouvertes. Je recommande vivement !"

"The property could be amazing and is in the best location but it was very dirty on arrival and one of the toilets did not flush. I would say in its present state, it is not fit for rental. The beds had plastic protectors which were very sweaty! The bathrooms are quite disgusting and one of the showers was actually just a trickle. Despite this the location is fab and it is very quiet.
