"It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"This is an old pub on the main Rye rd. with lots of character & old world charm. Be sure to tho win the postcode as google maps took us to the wrong place when we typed in White Hart Cranbrook. It’s actually in Newenden. Ellie at check in was adorable, she was super with anything we needed. Room was fine we got a room with 2 twin beds. Nice bathroom. Dinner was absolutely delicious I had the seafood salad with new potatoes Millie was just a delight helping us. Thank you Management for hiring...

"I liked the bedroom size and en-suite and that there was a sofa bed in a separate living room for my adult son. The breakfast choice was excellent with lots of fruit juice, milk, yogurt and choice of cereals and jam/marmalade. Really good value for money for this part of Sussex "
