"Great location, lovely staff and fantastic breakfast. Room was a little dated, but full of all the amenities you would expect - kettle, TV, hair dryer, ironing board etc. The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo etc and having a bath was a welcome bonus too! Something was flapping about in the wind outside my room, which woke me up a few times. Probably from a private garden nearby that the hotel has no control of! A fresh lick of paint, maybe some new furniture and paying attention to high dusting in the room would make this place faultless!"

"Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Lovely scenic outlook over Davaar Island and over to Arran, which changes by the hour.Good sized rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of games, books etc for when the weather isn't playing ball. Good off-road parking spaces for 2 cars, (3 at a push)Nice clear advice on using the hob, microwave, washing machine etc, as well as comprehensive suggestions for places to visit and where to eat.Overall we really enjoyed our few days in the cottage."

"Shore Cottage is a gorgeous location for a stay in Kintyre. The shore couldn't be any nearer and the sunsets are amazing when you have clear skies. The location is very peaceful and there are a group of seals who are often on the rocks and in the water, which is just lovely.The cottage is full of character and it's cozy and clean.This was our second visit and we would return again if we can."
