"Perfect location right on the lake front in Nantua. We were there during lovely weather but the views from the hotel were fantastic and pedal boats and padel boards could be hired within five minutes walk from the front doors. The hotel was quite basic and we weren’t overly impressed with the breakfast but it was immaculately clean and had its own car park."

"This was the perfect en route overnight stay for us. We had just flown from Seattle to Paris and were driving to Italy. This hotel has exactly what we needed for a very comfortable stay after a post-transatlantic flight: excellent beds, immaculate room and bathroom, easy and excellent dinner and breakfast, and the nicest staff ever. And the price was very reasonable. We will be back!"

"We enjoyed 2 fabulous nights with Andre and his wife. Their home is just beautiful and very well maintained. It was spotlessly clean! Our room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely and hot. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh local produce and coffee that gave us "gusto". What really makes this hotel special is Andre and his wife. They are the perfect hosts. Andre provided us with itineries. We were travelling to Colmar when we checked out and he directed us up through the Jura Mountains - what a trip. The towns, villages and scenery were a delight. There are 3 lovely lakes within easy reach and we spent a day visiting those. The hotel is within easy reach of the Swiss border. Andre - please use the ice packs that we left behind :)"

"Relatively cheap place to stay comparative to the prices in Geneva. As stated, the property is in France, so the commute to Geneva does take a while, on average 40-50min by public transport. As for the hotel, its pretty spacious, average cleanliness. The carpet in the halls were old and musty, but inside the rooms, it was clean for the most part. Overall, decent hotel for the price, main downside is really just the distance Geneva."
