"The area was quiet, peaceful, and rated one of St. Louis' safest neighborhoods. Francis Park is only a block's walk away, which includes an on-site beer garden that is open daily, that also offers sandwiches and appetizers. "This place was a very nice place to stay. It is pretty close to most attractions. I think it was only 10 minutes to the Zoo and Science Center. It is close to interstates and easy to get to and from the place. The neighborhood that it's in is a nice place with a bunch of little shops and such. I wish we had time to explore the area more. "I really like this place. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in St. Louis. Location great: quiet neighborhood and convenient to Metrolink, Forest Park, Central West End, and U City Loop. As they note, you have to walk up two flights. Older building; apartment has a bit of a DIY feel to it. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Plenty of parking in the back. (The entrance to the parking is on the adjacent side street; that wasn’t immediately obvious to me.)"
