"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"I want to thank Tim & Hilde for the most glorious holiday. The gite was lovely and very clean. It had tons of space (inside & out) for our family (we are a family of 5 with older children) & is set in the most beautiful surroundings. We loved our evening bbq’s, sitting at the back of the house for long dinners in the warm evenings. The kitchen was a lot bigger than the photos and loved our breakfasts as a family in there. The pool was also godsend for keeping us cool & the children...

"Plenty of historic and beautiful French villages and sites to visit or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the accommodation. Jacques, Chantal and Roman were very welcoming and attentive without being invasive. Very patient with our limited grasp of the French language. Nous apprenons le francais. 😁 Limited resources in Auriac but would highly recommend Comme Une Hall bar and restaurant in the village, had a wonderful meal and drinks with the owner/chef afterwards. "Three levels to the house, all well kept and organized. A full kitchen and laundry supplies were a blessing on our trip. Also a wonderful bathtub! "

"Cottage at En Bretus has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. It offers flexible accommodation, has everything needed for a relaxing stay including a beautiful terrace and pool. There are fabulous restaurants, historic towns and cities within a short drive, great cycling and super lakes all nearby. Karen and Ian are fabulous hosts and have amazing knowledge of the local area. We spent a fair amount of time in Toulouse, metro is about 35 mins away very easy. Atmosphere at the rugby...

"Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables chez Laurence et Régis. Accueil attentionné, échanges très agréables dans leur maison four à pain. Bel environnement et jardin agréable agrémenté de leur belle piscine. A recommander."

"Un agréable séjour dans le gîte très calme où nous avons pu faire de belles balades pour découvrir la région, il y a un étang où nous avons pu pêcher brochet et perche. Nous aimons jouer à la pétanque, ce qui était possible à côté du gîte. Je recommande d'y passer un séjour."

Petit point ce pendant à améliorer ,des portes manteau dans la salle de bain seraient les bienvenus et la cour extérieur aurait mérité un bon coup de débroussaillage .Pas non plus de séchoir à linge portable dans la maison. Beaucoup de belles balades à faire au tour du gîte.Et merci à Carole pour son accueil."

"Very peaceful property, stylishly decorated and with a lovely large garden with many seating areas, hammocks and pool. The house was very well equipped and, as keen cooks, this was perfect as we could visit local markets during the day and then cook feasts in the evening. Esther was a very helpful host, giving good information about the local area and kindly supplying us with logs for the lovely fire in the living room"
