"We had such a wonderful stay! The area was so quiet and far enough from the overcrowded popular areas but close enough to drive and visit everything. The cottage was so beautiful and we spent almost all our evenings in the veranda and often had the visit from foxes that would run across the yard. The cottage was clean, beds were comfortable and although there was limited space to store our things, we managed around it. We will definitely come back! "

"We had the most incredible time at the Oyster Creek Cabin. We just kept saying "I can't believe we found this place" If you want privacy, this is absolute privacy. Trees surround the cabin and all you can see is a beautiful lawn, fire pit and the most stunning view of the water. We enjoyed sunsets every night on the deck- but bring your bug spray! We loved this cabin because we were able to cook our own meals, the BBQ was great and there's a small stove inside. There's a mini fridge that was big enough for everything we needed. I just can't say enough how great this cabin was. It's so beautiful inside and out and we felt so lucky to stay there.We were also impressed that this cabin is 100% self sustainable, with soil panels and a water tank. So close to beautiful Montague, with grocery stores, breweries, restaurants, bike paths. Just an all around wonderful place to stay! The host was attentive and responsive, we will definitely book the Oyster Creek Cabin again! "

"We stayed at this wonderful home which exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed having a restaurant across the street, strolling along the walkway, ocean view and relaxation in the hot tub. "Booking ,check in was easy,cottage was immaculate,neighbors friendly My stay at Northumberland Nook included my 2sisters ages 81,76 and myself at age 72The view was like a postcard,sunsets gorgeousThe air conditioning was much appreciated!We were born and raised in Pictou ,therefore dipping our feet in the water is what we enjoy the most however due to our age,managing the stairs and the rocks was difficult for all of us but impossible for our oldest sisterHowever we do realize the challenges of the Northumberland coast and how the beach changes yearly so this is not a criticism,just the realityThank you for allowing us to stay in your exceptional cottage "

"The house was the perfect setting for our family vacation. It had four separate Bedrooms that fit our family's needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and three of them had en-suite bathrooms, making it very private for most everyone. The layout of the house provided lots of room for everyone to do their own thing, even though we spent most of the time on the back deck enjoying the beautiful sunny weather and breathtaking view of Orwell Cove. Dean was a great host and even visited when we had a problem resetting the internet. He showed up when he said he would, worked with the internet provider, and had the issue resolved in minutes. Thank you, Dean. You know how younger generations are when they lose connection!All week long, everyone commented on how beautiful the house and setting were, and how we must plan a return to the property for future vacations.
