"The property is in a truly old home, but they have done a great job to update it and make it comfortable. It has the feel of a hostel, but definitely higher quality than your average hostel. It's a great option for a place to lay your head that is clean and convenient. The porch is amazing is well. Everything works, showers were warm, and everything was clean. "

"This was a good spot that was within walking distance of the French quarter, although it's a 25-30 min walk so it's a little time consuming/tiring if you're doing that more than once/day. If you're going to the convention center this is the perfect spot! The interiors were really nice and clean, the only thing I would be mindful of is that the bathroom area is completely open to the room and the shower has a fully glass front so I would not stay here with anyone you're not super close with. "No privacy! Window covering fell during first night. Called customer service stated maintenance wouldn’t be in until after 12pm. I asked for a expected time for repair, they could not give that to me. It was not fixed that day nor during the rest of my stay. My room was on the front of the building and street light was shining into my window the entire time. I was extremely tired each day and couldn’t fully rest. "Everything was ok for the most part however / WiFi didn't work, blow dryer didn't work. The bed was missing a box spring and therefor sagged like a giant bowl and was very difficult to sleep on because of that."

"The property was great but what really set it aside was the staff. Although I wasnt participating in any of the events that were happening during my stay, there were several and even if the staff was up to their elbows in guests seeking check in, check out, inquiries about property/area or anything else; whether it was front desk, management, security, valet.... Every single person I interacted with was polite, informative, professional and engaging. I've stayed in A LOT of different places, all over the world... I have to say that every single member of the team at the InterContinental was top shelf and deserves recognition for their level of streamlined effectiveness, efficiency, and overall fastidious work ethic that really stood out."
