"STAY AWAY. This is by the far one of the worst stays I've ever had in all of my times traveling around the world. The listing stated their was a front desk with limited hours and a full Irish breakfast. When I called the number listed on the Expedia listing (which is a woman's personal cell phone), I asked about the breakfast and was blatantly lied to. "Good location, shame about everything else. Check in was perfunctory, as was service at breakfast. No hospitality at all. Room was the smallest I have ever seen, like sleeping in a caravan. Beds short, my feet were sticking out and I am 5'6", not very tall! No shelf or surface in bathroom for toiletries/make up. "This peaceful cottage is in a great location if you want to get away from it all. Finding it may have been easier if the instructions were in English rather than German. Easy access to Westport and Newport if you need to shop. The cottage itself was not the warmest place we have ever stayed and could do with a little tlc but generally comfortable . The inspiring views of Croagh Patrick were largely blocked by an overgrown hedge. However we enjoyed our stay very much."
