"Taking into account the property is older, it was pretty well maintained, however imo, it will need upgrading in the near future. I’m not saying it’s bad, just that it’s age shows in things like (in the room I stayed) fraying carpet in corners, difficulty with sliding balcony door, the lighting in the room could be brighter, (don’t laugh) and a toilet that was about 12 inches high. I’m 6’4”. It was like sitting on a training potty for a toddler. Plus the flush was not very strong. At times I thought I was going to stop up the toilet and have to call maintenance. I did ask the front desk host about the size of the toilet. She didn’t know why and didn’t necessarily expect her to, so the best answer she could give me was to ask for a room with a regular sized toilet on my next stay. Lastly the elevators moved a little too slow, so it took awhile for them to arrive. There were two things I’d put in the category of “cheesy”. The gift for Hilton Honors members was, drum roll, 2 bottles of water. Second, was $10/night parking charge. Not deal breakers, but … Now, don’t get me wrong, the stay was pleasant, because there were many things that were great. The full breakfast, the happy hour, friendly and helpful staff, room size, comfortable bed and furniture, clean room, and the expected room amenities. Most importantly, the room rate was very reasonable. So, would I stay there again? Absolutely. I’d just make sure I’d ask for a room with a man sized toilet 😜."

"I arrived early for check in and the desk clerk worked hard to get me in my room early before I had to leave for an event. She was very on top of things and friendly. I waited in the lobby while the room was being prepared and it was clean and comfortable. Later when I returned, we had a drink at the bar and the service was once again, great, with a friendly bartender (who remembered me from another stay). I looks as if the rooms have been refreshed since my last stay - clean and well designed. I slept like a log on the very comfortable bed! Basically, it was the least problematic hotel stay I may have ever had."

"Hotel, staff absolutely great. Unfortunately, not much to do in the area. There is a Cracker Barrel right next door, but not much else. However, it was a nice and quiet night, got some sleep and headed out early."
