"Nice place to stay."

"The rooms are spacious and clean. Love the bathroom most! It's big, clean and offers integrated hygiene air exchange system, toilet seat warmer etc. However, the hotel may want to consider offering paid early check-in option and a safer luggage storage area. Wanted to pay for early check-in at noon but was not allowed. Was told to leave our luggage at the back staircase area with no security or recording by the staff. Anyone can just open and take the luggage."

"On the site, it says they don’t have parking. However, it was not entirely right. It seems like they do but in the first come first serve situation. I almost didn‘t choose them because of it because I was visiting a friend and I wasn’t sure where i can park. Luckily my friend‘s house is near by and we parked there instead. I just thought if the site can mark a bit clearer, I wouldn’t hesitate to book the hotel. Overall, I had fun staying with them. The room is very similar as the one I stayed in Frankfurt. I guess it‘s the vibes this brand is trying to create. It’s nice and hip. The lobby is also good for friends gathering. "

"Quaint hotel located about 10 minutes from the train station. Though the name is 133, the address is 143 and the entrance is via one of the shop units which leads to a corridor converted from the shop space leading to the hotel at the end. Look out for the signboard at the side of the shophouse building. Operator has policy of not issuing room key thus one has to lock their room door when they go out and the staff will open the door when you’re back. Also, the doors and shutter will be locked at 10 pm and if you come back late, you’ll have to call them to unlock for you. The same happens when you need to leave very early in the morning. You’ll have to call the staff to unlock the door and shutter for you. As it is in the suburb, it’s dead town at night."

"Not sure if we just got a bad room or they're all bad, but my family was bitten by mysterious bugs. Maybe bed bugs in addition to mosquitos. But it was very scary and unpleasant. We will not stay here again even if it was free. Service was not bad, but can't make up for the bug bites. We had 10+ bites per person. "

"I have stayed here before and this time it impressed me again with very friendly receptionists and services. This place covers all basics well on a budget. It provides parking, breakfast, cafe area and a clean and modern facility overall. The breakfast buffet offers traditional Taiwanese dishes as well as western style continental breakfast, all are delicious. "

"For the cost, I was incredibly impressed by the condition of the room and even the functionality of the bathroom. When traveling in Taiwan, I'm not often sure what I get when I book a hotel at good price. However, the Hesper was great and I would definitely book there again."
