"Beautiful home with amazing views! This home had everything needed for our party of four. The owners are the kindest people you will meet. We stayed for a week and we were quite sad to leave. A quiet area and a great place to renew yourself. We spent the week visiting historic sites, driving mountain passes, and even took a walk with alpacas!!"

"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "A fantastic experience. The beach for the children was a homerun! They spent all day hunting for lipids, mussels & clams. The sauna was going was so refreshing after a dip in the pool and bay. A daily ritual. Seal cottage was lovely and most comfortable. Tomas and Margrite(sp) were very helpful. We were there for over 3 weeks and hated to leave! We will return. 5 stars!"

"Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. Recommended, and without qualification would return for future trips"

"If you are looking for a rustic experience with a coastal million dollar view this is the place for you. Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."

"Kathleen was the perfect host and her holiday home was honestly incredible. So much space and light with beautiful views from every window. Kathleen was so accommodating when we had to add an extra guest to the party and came over to talk us through everything. The location is brilliant for exploring the Skelligs and this beautiful part of the Kerry ring All in all, it was all just standout brilliant and my only regret is that we weren't staying another week!"

"This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. We had an amazing time in Sneem and hiking the nearby mountains, conquering Carrountoonhil!!"

"We travelled to Castletownbere from our home in Dorset to meet up with an old friend - we are pushing 80 so most of our friends are old! We hired a car at Dublin Airport and travelled to this delightful town in SW Ireland. It is a fishing port and the smaller trawlers mostly fish locally while the large ones fish further out in the Atlantic - brave men indeed. "We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window.
