"Lovely stay. Eloi is a superb host, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is in a superb location, with fabulous views over the mountain to the border with Spain. Privacy is guaranteed, but you do have to enjoy isolation, as the nearest shops and bars are a hair-raising 25 minute drive up and down the mountain on a very narrow, twisty road. "We were stunned by the spacious and tidy rooms. Kitchens were very well equipped (better than we ever encountered in many other apartments we visited with this group of friends + kids). The environment is beautiful and the help of Imogen (our host) was great! The swimming pool, table tennis, spacious terras, table football were great!"

We felt that the description of the location could be a little more precise.The access road is quite rough and tricky to negotiate in places after heavy rain. "My wife Jo and I spent a very pleasant ten days at Mas Santol. The gite is very beautiful, in a great location not far from the charming small town of Ceret. We explored the area and also went further afield, to the beach at Le Racoul and into the mountains of Prats-de-Mollo. Martine and Serge were very nice to deal with. "What a brilliant place for our multi-generational group of friends and family. The setting is beautiful - very peaceful, with fabulous views of the surrounding woods and mountains. The property worked really well for us, with something for everyone - particular favourites included the pool, board games, books, TV, table-tennis, and the space to relax on your own if you wanted peace and quiet. Another bonus for us was being able to walk/hike/run direct from the property. A great week, thank you!"

"We are a group of 8 and just had the most fantastic 2 weeks in this house. Views are spectacular, the house is well equipped and very spacious and the pool was a good size and a nice temperature. All bedrooms open up on to the balcony where you can watch the sun rise & deer grazing on the garden. Buzzards & kites flying over every day. Market at Prades on Tuesday is worth a visit and also Fort Liberia - if you don’t take the 800 steps up then be prepared for a adventurous & very bumpy jeep...

"Nos alojamos con 7 amigos durante un fin de semana largo y disfrutamos mucho de la casa. la propiedad es hermosa y perfecta para un grupo. ¡Nuestro favorito era la gran piscina fresca de manantial de montaña! La anfitriona fue muy amable e incluso nos trajo tomates y pepinos frescos de su jardín. Antes de irnos, recorrió el resto de la enorme casa que también se puede alquilar. Es un hermoso espacio, ideal para una gran fiesta. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!"

"Le logement est charmant et les pieces sont spacieuses. Il est très bien placé et facile pour se garer. La proprietaire est disponible et très sympathique. Ainsi que sa voisine avec qui j'ai échangé les clefs. En revanche, je déconseille avec des petits en bas âges car il y a beaucoup d'escaliers et les sanitaires se trouvent au rez de chaussé alors que les chambres sont au second (ou 1er pour le canapé convertible). Idéal pour groupe d'amis ou famille avec enfants autonomes."
