Part of the Savage Gulf State Park, amazing overlooks provide breathtaking views of the gulf below. Several hiking trails are available, some requiring overnight camping. Perfect spot to stop for a picnic before heading below thru Stone Door. #roadtrip

This is the Collins West area in the Savage Gulf - aka South Cumberland State Park. This is Horsepound falls. Been here several times. One of my favorites hikes in TN. Also great place to take kids backpacking or camping. The campground is only about a ten minute walk from the parking lot.
