Redbird Hideaway With Hot Tub

Discover the enchanting Redbird Hideaway, a quaint forest retreat boasting outdoor picnic tables, a generous firepit circled by snug Adirondack chairs, and a spacious covered pavilion known as the "Perch." Tucked away in peaceful seclusion, this family-oriented sanctuary provides a plethora of adventures for children, including a swing set with a slide. The interior exudes an adorable charm with a 'cute factor' of 10 and comfortably accommodates 6 guests, with a Murphy bed available for 2 more, allowing for a total of 8 guests.



This delightful cabin features stylish decor, an open-plan living room and kitchen, and a private bedroom outfitted with queen-sized bunk beds. The upper level houses a vast loft with a king-sized bed and a quaint single bed nook. The living room includes a cleverly concealed Murphy bed, designed as a TV cabinet, that can comfortably fit a large adult. Outside, a chic party pavilion with a stone wood-burning fireplace awaits. This trendy gathering spot comes equipped with lighting, fans, upscale outdoor furniture, and a sizeable dining table. Additionally, there is extensive parking available for multiple vehicles, boats, and trailers.



You and your guests will enjoy exclusive access to the cabin, party pavilion, and nearly 5 acres of private woodland.



While we won't be on-site before or during your stay, we are reachable by phone 24 hours a day. A welcome letter with check-in instructions will be sent to you two days prior to your arrival.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was nice and clean and roomy. The outside area cozy. We loved the front potch and swings. The owners were friendly and helpful. Hope to be back. Enjoyed our stsy.

We loved our stay with our two dogs at the Redbird Hideaway. The property felt secluded and cozy. We loved the charcoal grill , the fire pit, and all of the comforts of home but in the beautiful woods. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. Felt great after a day spent in Mammoth cave! We would stay again!

Peaceful place, ideal setting for seeing Mammoth Cave, taking cave tours, hiking, exploring small towns. Nolan Lake rec area closed from storms but so many other things to do and see. Cabin had all we needed and more. Loved the hot tub after long hikes and long days adventuring.

Not a Mickey Fan

We enjoyed our stay - we were in the area to visit Mammoth Caves. The cabin is secluded, cozy, and has everything you need. It’s a bit of a drive to the cave (about 1/2 hour) but scenic. The hot tub was clean (but very strong chlorine smell), water pressure in the cabin was good, gas stove made cooking easy but the vent hood doesn’t exhaust to the outside. The only knives provided were steak knives, so a bit of a challenge to prepare vegetables. Our worst experience was that we were apparently sharing the cabin with some mice. There were some crackers left in a drawer under the microwave and plenty of mouse droppings. These were very easy to see so I don’t think the cleaning staff is bringing their A game. I brought both of these issues to the property manager contact we had and he thanked me for doing so. At the same time, he didn’t offer to make it right with me and so my only option was to leave this review. I’m hopeful that they will address these issues because otherwise it is a great place to stay.
