The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful, yet within easy reach of Keswick town and the surrounding fells. A special mention must go to Michael and Adam, who were courteous, welcoming, and genuinely keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From great local tips to thoughtful little touches, their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast was simply outstanding—fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. "This hotel has a very special atmosphere which somehow makes you instantly relax. The hotel team are extremely helpful and the food is some of the best we have ever tasted. The bedrooms are small but that is the only slight downside. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. Breakfast is 10/10. Parking is easy. The location is perfect. We can't wait to return. "

"I booked a double bedded room with a trundle bed (for a child), but there was no such bed in the room allocated me. This was sorted out while we ordered dinner and we were moved to a different (better) room. Very friendly staff and great food evening and breakfast."
