"The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The village of Blackheath is super cute and convenient to London. In addition to the train right around the corner from the hotel, there is also the opportunity to take an Uber boat into London. The walk to the pier is a bit longer than the walk to the train, but it is through the beautiful Greenwich park, so definitely worth it."

"Beautiful entrance and reception area on arrival the and front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times. We only stayed two nights as we were there for a family wedding but thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening dinner and excellent breakfast. We would love visit the Greenwich to spend more time and will certainly return to the Double Tree by Hilton hotel. "

"The hostel is very close to Goldsmith University and there many convenient stores, cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hostel is well organized, spotless clean, without mosquitoes or bedbugs. Very good free breakfast at the dining room and it’s possible to cook or store your own food at smaller kitchens that are on 2nd. & 4th floor. The staff are very kind and go out of their way to help you. "

"I don’t know why this hotel has such low ratings. I must admit, I was hesitant to book because of the bad reviews but because my booking was so last minute, I did not really have a choice. Here is my review: The Pros: - Everything was clean and tidy - Super quiet! Honestly, this was probably the quitest hotel I have stayed at. All the budget hotels like Z hotels, Ibis, Travelodge boast of soundproofing but I could always hear people CONSTANTLY! This was such a refreshing change. The road is quite noisy but once you close the windows, you can't hear a thing. - Mostly well-connected. It is a bit out of the way and takes around 40min to get to the centre of London but at this price, it's a steal! There are multiple bus stops nearby and the tube is a 15min walk away. - Room size is very generous. We stayed in the triple room and it had 3 single beds, a large single seater couch, a dressing table and chair and ample room to spare! - Comfy beds and sheets. We slept very well. The cons: - The carpet and couch could do with a deep clean. - The walls are a bit grubby. Could do with some new paint. - If I'm really nit-picking, the nearest shops and restaurants were about a 10min walk away so a bit far if you are feeling lazy. The hotel is not perfect, but for the cost, it was more than sufficient. More than I can say for many other hotels in London. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful stay and were more than happy. Fantastic value for money! We will definitely be back!"

"There were hairs on the beds when arrived but the cleanliness of the rest of it was great. The staff where friendly and welcoming. The cups in the room are very small but we asked for bigger ones and the staff were more than helpful. Will definitely be staying here again. Dont let the area put you off"
