"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. "Just a lovely gite inside Turckheim’s old walls, wonderful shower, nice kitchen, very quiet and comfortable, plenty of space for a couple with a few small kids. The only negative was limited parking right near the gite, but plenty of parking a 3-4 minute walk away just outside the old town wall. We’ll definitely be going back here!!"

"After visiting the Alsace a few times now, we wanted to find a property that would provide us walking access to a picturesque village with restaurants and bars, to have a space where we could sit outside and enjoy views, but have privacy, to be able to park our car very close, and to stay in a Gite that provided all the mod-cons and comfort that we are used to.
