    Indulge yourself in this elegant hideaway that features two custom-built log cabins, each with its unique characteristics. Spend quality time with family and friends relaxing in the main log cabin which features an ample dining area, a cozy great-room centered around a large river rock fireplace and three en-suite bedrooms.
    The rustic guest-cabin, also known as the “man-cave” is the heart of entertainment with a hot tub, pool table, foosball table, margarita machine, 55” television, extensive DVD collection and a private queen room upstairs.

This is an amazing property for family get- to- togethers. It is clean, in a wonderful location to explore Olympic National Park, and has great amenities. There is plenty of room indoors, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, large Dining area, and has a beautiful fire pit area for evenings outside together.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabins. So much to do in the area and at the house. The cabins were very equipped with everything from beach towels, fishing rods, games, and more. The cabins had so much room, our family of 7 adults and 2 children were more than comfortable. The walk to the river was easy and beautiful. Very peaceful area with woods, deer, chipmunks, and woodland flowers. We enjoyed the hot tub, campfire and watching/listening to the eagles! We enjoyed lunches at 3 Rivers on our outings to many local locations. I would definitely stay at the cabins again if in the area.

The Cabin was on a bend in the Sol Duc River with easy access. So my grandson started fishing as soon as we got there. We enjoyed the accommodations since the FIFA World Cup was on with TV’s in every room. We, also explored Ruby Beach and the Ho Rainforest which were close by. We had plenty of room to get away from each other when we wanted to. 3 elk met us on the driveway when we arrived and when we left. We also explored Forks, WA and its “Twilight” book series connection. Thanks to our gracious hosts for a wonderful visit.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the cabins. The property is the epitome of “PNW Getaway”. We enjoyed the fire pit a the walks down to the Sol Duc river. All the amenities made it so there was never a dull moment. Corn hole, fishing gear, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, foosball, and more. We were in town for an annual basketball tournament and would welcome a chance to return next year.

Great trip to Olympia National Park

Our family wanted to visit Olympia National Park. This location served as a great base. We loved the layout, the man cave, hot tub, fire pit, and more . Location is beautiful.

Excellent place to stay! Wish I lived there😀

The two houses were spacious, clean and stocked with kcups and wood - very unusual. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring the area. Loved the river and hot tub!

This is a beautiful, well maintained property nestled on the banks of the Sol Duc river. The accommodations were very comfortable & offered all the amenities of home. Shelly, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries. This was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults to gather & enjoy the peace & quiet of the outdoors. We totally enjoyed our time at the cabin & visiting Olympic National Park. We would definitely consider a revisit in the future.

Perfect Natural Setting

My group of 7 traveled all over Washington over 9 days. This 2 night stay was our favorite. The setting is amazing. It's private and perfectly maintained. If we ever come back this way this would be our 1st choice.

An Amazing Property

The cabin and mancave were fantastic in their own right, but the whole property, from the entrance to the driveway, down to the river, was stellar. would 12/10 recommend.

Ideal & Peaceful Home

We stayed with our immediate family and really enjoyed the whole experience. Communication between us and the owners was incredibly easy. The main house is exactly how I would like to have had my personal cabin (still just a dream) to be designed for us. This location was extremely well suited for going to all the hikes, sights, and beaches. I would totally recommend this home to anyone.

Incredible property, outstanding hosts.

The photos just don’t do it justice, it’s even more impressive in person. Our family spent a week here for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect backdrop to make those once-in-a-lifetime memories. I just genuinely don’t have anything negative to say.

Great Home Base for Exploring Olympic National Park

We thought this place was truly special, even better in person than what we imagined based on the photos. The location was perfect for exploring Olympic National Park. We LOVED having the game room for the family to hang out in the evenings, and the hot tub was great as well. The river was fun to explore and the fire pit it area is so nice! We did not have any issues with the internet and we did do some remote work from the cabin.

Heaven on Earth

Tucked away and secluded, this is paradise found. Eagle calls replace alarm clocks and the sounds of a rushing river down below quietly provides the only background noise you’ll have here. Close to everything you want to see, this property is for the true nature enthusiast who wants an escape from busy city noise and life. Owners were courteous and kind, helpful and thoughtful.

Magical

Loved everything about it, however may I suggest the fireplace be cleaned occasionally. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to see an abundance of chopped wood as it was a cold and rainy day, perfect for a roaring fire. The fireplace was so completely filled with ash it would have been dangerous to burn any wood and my husband spent over an hour cleaning. Beds were very comfortable!

You cannot fathom how beautiful this property is! Please allow time to enjoy this home. The kids loved the bunk room upstairs and said the beds were super comfortable. They also had their own bathroom upstairs. Main floor had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved the big table that we could all eat together at. We made steaks on the grill with the supplied propane. The toilet paper and paper towels are plentiful. The laundry room was in the garage but we loved going outside so much so that didn’t bother us. There are apple trees and a giant blueberry bush in the front yard. We picked and ate massive amounts of blueberries! The garage had another big table and kitchen. We played a lot of cards and pool in there. We used the hot tub and fire pit quite a bit. There is sooooooo much dry firewood to use so don’t buy that! The trails to the river were magical! We found so many banana slugs and even played cards on the picnic table down on the clearing. There is a shelter with lights down by the old fire pit and you are immersed in the mossy forest and can see and hear the beautiful river. It’s like your own personal Hoh rainforest! We explored all of Olympic National Park but the house was one of the best parts of the trip! There was plenty of coffee and filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and Dawn dish soap. There was a Dyson and mop in the closet, hairdryers, everything we needed! Thank you Shelly and Bruce!

Clean, Beautiful Home

My family and I stayed at this cabin recently. We have rented many vacation homes over the years but this one by far was the cleanest and most well stocked. The home is beautiful and it fit my family of 10 perfectly. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. It is a quick drive to Forks and in-between the beaches and Lake Cresent. Definitely make time to go kayaking on Lake Cresent it is beautiful, you can rent them at the Fairholme General Store. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with us.

Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed the last week in July and everything was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful, plenty of space for us to spread out. My 13 yr old loved exploring the property, looking for slugs and mushrooms in the forest. My almost 18 yr old loved having their own space in the “mancave” and I loved how quiet it was. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen great for making meals when we weren’t going to be out. We also loved how close it was to Olympic National Park and the coast. If we are up this way, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property - not so beautiful host

The stay was perfect, the property was immaculate and family oriented with plenty to do. Host did not properly communicate before/ during/ and after stay. Believe host to be utilizing situation to obtain more money from my stay. Keeping security deposit, charging for “extra cleaning” and property damage. When none such occurred during our stay. We would have loved to return to the property for future memories to be made. But will not due to the host’s negligence on commutation, and shadiness.
