"The apartment in the house/bastide is quite large. The pool is beautiful. The kitchen is ok. The house is old and shows its age. We found black mould in the hallway ceiling. We certainly enjoyed the pool, and the manager, who is lovely. We were a bit surprised that there were other persons staying in the Bastide during our stay. "

"We had a very nice holiday in Aix en Provence, the house was cozy with an amazing garden and Pool. Aix en Provence is such a nice city and very close by the house. There is possibilities for a lot of trips in the area, we espeically love Gorge du Verdon, a must see in the area (tip :) book a boat or a canoe in advance if you go there) Do also remember to visit the markets in Aix en Provence, it is also a must if you spend your holiday here."

Unlike other vacation homes, this one is truly someone's residence, so it contained many personal effects down to the homeowner's own hair products. Given this, we had all of the necessary items to cook, do laundry, etc. The air conditioning was excellent and we had plenty of hot water for showers.
