"Very happy with this attractive authentic chateau in a very quiet situation easy to locate a short distance from the motorway. We didn’t walk around the grounds or see the pool as it was inclement weather. The room was immaculate albeit very small but it was the least expensive but next time I would upgrade to have a separate bathroom. "This was a very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was nice. Front desk was very helpful. Two things for feedback. 1) The hotel management's policy of allowing guests to use the courtyard only if they have purchased a drink from the bar seems unreasonable and is unusual from my experience. 2) The alternative location for social activity at night was the breakfast area. "Ideal stopover on the way to the alps from uK. Luckily arriving on Friday evening, we heard no road works on Saturday and could walk over to the market in the morning which was lovely. Our room had a lovely bathroom with plenty of hot Water. Comfy mattress. We could briefly hear some noise from upstairs but nothing to prevent me giving this hotel 5 stars. Good stopover- would stay again
"Very happy with this attractive authentic chateau in a very quiet situation easy to locate a short distance from the motorway. We didn’t walk around the grounds or see the pool as it was inclement weather. The room was immaculate albeit very small but it was the least expensive but next time I would upgrade to have a separate bathroom. For an overnight stop it was fine - breakfast was adequate apart from the lack of fresh coffee-only a machine and the coffee from that was not the best. I think it might have contained powdered sweet milk. We were booked into a very nice nearby restaurant so the lack of a restaurant wasn’t a problem- good secure parking. "
