"We picked Abbaye de Maizieres because it looked interesting. The experience far exceeded our expectations and our expectations were high. Great staff. . .very welcoming and helpful. Betty, Emilie and Thibault were each top notch. We knew they do not have an elevator, but that was not an impediment. . .they were very helpful on that count also. The breakfast was first class. . .we had never had a candlelight breakfast before. They helped with dinner reservations as well. The hotel was easily within walking distance of everything in Beaune. We certainly will return. "

"Ideal stopover on the way to the alps from uK. Luckily arriving on Friday evening, we heard no road works on Saturday and could walk over to the market in the morning which was lovely. Our room had a lovely bathroom with plenty of hot Water. Comfy mattress. We could briefly hear some noise from upstairs but nothing to prevent me giving this hotel 5 stars. I would happily stay again "
