"Propre, décoration sympas, par contre compliqué d’y dormir à 4 personnes, le lit est très bien mais le « canapé-lit » est trop petit et pas confortable pour 2 personnes."

The grocery store in the little town of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne has everything you can wish for, even a nice Fish Department. "There are 4 holiday apartments attached to the small chateau. We were in one of two that was in the converted barn. The apartment has lots of space, and is pleasantly furnished. It's a lovely setting. Quiet, surrounded by farmland and in very attractive countryside. The historic town of Cluny is down the road, with lots to offer. And there are chateaux and castles to see within an easy drive. The chateau swimming pool and area was ours to use, and it was a pleasure. There was just one thing that...

"We arrived on Sunday June 1, 2025 at 4:30 to a very dirty house. The cleaners came at 4:35 and they were there for about one hour. The house was still dirty. Used eyelashes were stuck to the shower wall. A dead bird by the back door. Broken stool. the floors were incredibly dirty as were the bathrooms. Very old pots and pans. Flat sheet instead of a fitted one that wouldn’t stay on the bed. One pillow didn’t even have a pillow case. We were very disappointed with this property’s condition....

"Appartement très cosy, linge fourni tres apprécié (il manquait le linge pour le canapé et les serviettes). c'était prévu pour 2 et nous étions 4. Appartement bien situé, cuisine commune tres fonctionnelle. Bémol : non prévenu que l'appartement est situé au 4 ème etage sans ascenseur, canapé trop petit pour 2 ados et frigo tres tres petit (mini frigo) alors que cetait mentionné petit frigo. Je recommande néanmoins."
