"What an amazing location with the nicest genuine staff we’ve encountered. The Hotel Abbey has an amazing history and is like being transported back in time . Sympathetic renovations have kept the olde world charm of this amazing building with its beautiful views over the Loire river and bridge. We arrived late after a long drive from lake Annecy but we were given an amazing meal cooked on a wood burner and hand made deserts that that make in house that would shame some five stars . Do yourselves a favour and visit this amazing establishment and chat to the owner , he’s a lovely gentleman . "

"Loved our stay at le relais. The receptionist was immediately very kind and helpful. We had a safe place for our bikes, the room was beautiful with a lovely view of the village below, and the breakfast was a real treat! Everything felt very close in the village, and we ended up eating at a restaurant opposite, perfect to roll into bed afterwards. "
