"Rooms were spread across different locations- houses- which made our larger group of four more difficult to coordinate. No elevators but the rooms were nice and the staff as well."

"A nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms, what the hotel fails to tell you is there is ongoing construction with over half of the hotel covered in scaffolding. There is workers walking up and down the hallways from 0800-1600, in the lift which is small, walking through reception, the carpark is full of construction equipment so you have to park across the road that cost £10 a day. What annoyed me was the lack of information on the construction and the parking. It would be a 5 Stars if it wasn’t for the construction and the lack of information about the construction."

"The team were helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The restaurant team made sure we were well looked after, especially as I had a specific dietary requirement, this was not an issue and it was very well catered for. Thanks to everyone who made sure we received true Scottish hospitality during our stay. Good size room with tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size with shampoo and shower gel."

"The staff here were wonderful! Check in lady we had was so incredibly informative, helped us find the attractions we were looking for. Great location, amazing view of the water/castle. The room was adorable. Very old world with the wool blankets. The washroom facilities were clean and it had a great shower."

"Had a great stay, large room which was mostly clean but a few cobwebs around the window. Good choice at breakfast, unfortunately poached eggs were overdone on first morning but perfect the following day. All staff encountered were friendly and professional at all times. Overall we had a very pleasant experience."
