"The Devlin was without a doubt the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. From the afrobeats and lively warm welcome in the lounge upon our arrival, to the cinema, and friendly staff, this place has it ALL. It’s just like they say, they are NOT just a hotel. Located in a prime location, this facility boasts eclectic and well laid out rooms, a cozy and walkable neighborhood with LOTS of good food options, and a laundromat next door. The front desk staff and the bar/restaurant staff are all so friendly and welcoming and I had the most amazing drinks at this hotel - best of my entire stay in Ireland… yes REALLY! I am already planning my return, but as for now, Devlin, stay classy!"

"Room was clean and a good size. Food was good for breakfast. Only minor issue is no fridge in the room. Nice place to stay with good transport links into Dublin "

"Lovely, grand hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, and fresh, lighter coloured furniture would be preferred. Bed was very comfy. Shower screens rather than shower curtains would be preferred. Nice touch to have biscuits and water in the room. If fridges were added to the rooms, that would be good too. Lovely lobby, bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was brilliant and the scrambled eggs were delicious and golden! The smoothies and yoghurt granola pots were great too. Hotel is in a great location and easily accessible by public transport and close to the RDS. Definately recommend this hotel. "

"This is our third stay at Rochestown Lodge. Another excellent stay, the hotel is kept very clean and tidy. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff in all areas were helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Even though the hotel was pretty busy, we had no issues with parking, there were plenty of spaces. We didn’t use the Spa facilities so cannot comment on that area. We will certainly return for another visit."

"The property itself was lovely, well maintained and in a fantastic location, which we really appreciated. However, the self-service check-in was quite disappointing. We did not receive any arrival instructions by email, and there was no one available on-site to assist us. After some time, a cleaner kindly stepped in to help, although it was clear this was outside her usual responsibilities, and the language barrier made things a bit challenging for both sides. We stayed for two nights, and on both evenings we witnessed multiple guests experiencing the same issue; it was quite unpleasant, especially knowing we weren’t in a position to assist."

"The room felt quite luxurious, decorated in a really pretty way with smart wallpaper, a warm cosy feeling - lovely comfy bed, full length mirror, little touches like loo roll folded over into a point and tea and coffee refreshed daily. It was also all really clean and well kept and very quiet. The powerful shower had a waterfall shower as well as a regular one. It is in a quiet and quite well off neighbourhood, with 2 Tesco extras, Donnybrook Fair luxury food shop (great for buying a cheap daily sandwich on the way in to town), place for a full Irish breakfast or a trendy hipster cafe, and a pub all within 4 minutes walking distance. There are more than 3 buses into town from bus stop 2 minutes away - takes around 15 - 20 minutes. I didn't meet the owner but the cleaner was really sweet and kind. There is a lounge where you can eat a takeaway meal which saved on costs. I had a pizza from a restaurant 5 minutes away. I highly recommend it, its also (incredibly) cheaper than some of the mass market/ soulless type hotels in the centre. I would stay here again if I visited Dublin in the future."
